Curiosity Zone

Life Science Centre, Newcastle

The Curiosity Zone featured a range of interactive exhibits designed and developed by the Life Science Centre in-house team. The exhibits were open-ended and designed to stimulate exploration and experimentation by visitors, allowing them to make choices and pursue their own curiosity.

My role on the project was spatial and environmental design - i.e. the layout of the exhibition and the display structures to house the interactive exhibits. Working closely with the exhibits team at Life, I designed a series of display units with semi-translucent eco resin panels to create distinct zones within the exhibition space.
